Project Overview
Coffee 1911 tasked KOD Universe with crafting a vintage-meets-modern visual brand reflecting time-honored brewing methods and contemporary café culture.

Carving a distinctive niche in an artisan coffee market with an authentic, non-generic identity that resonates across cups, packaging, and store signage.
Our Approach
We drew upon turn-of-the-century typography and badge iconography, creating a stamp of authenticity and craft.

DESIGN - Packaging
For Niwarthana, we explored how Sri Lankan identity could travel beyond geography without losing its character. Sinhala typography became a visual texture across a new packaging concept. The brand’s long-trusted products were relaunched in new packaging, and the same conceptual framework carried across every new product, for 23+ designs in total. Language became part of the experience of the pack. Culture, transformed into design.
DESIGN - Branding
We created the identity for Cool Steps with one goal: make it instantly recognisable. What began as a logo evolved into a mark that became highly visible across the brand’s presence.
